jagadīśa paṇá¸ita, Ära hiraṇya mahÄÅ›aya

jagadīśa paṇá¸ita - Jagadīśa Paṇá¸ita; Ära - and; hiraṇya - Hiraṇya; mahÄÅ›aya - great personality; yÄre - unto whom; ká¹›pÄ - mercy; kaila - showed; bÄlye - in childhood; prabhu - the Lord; dayÄmaya - merciful.
Jagadīśa Paṇá¸ita was formerly a great dancer in kṛṣṇa-lÄ«lÄ and was known as CandrahÄsa. Regarding Hiraṇya Paṇá¸ita, it is said that once when Lord NityÄnanda, decorated with valuable jewels, was staying at his home, all night long a great thief attempted to plunder these jewels but was unsuccessful. Later he came to NityÄnanda Prabhu and surrendered unto Him.
