App now supports downloading separate books. Before it could only download packages of books (aka Gitabases), so that if user was interested in only one book they had to download entire gitabase. Now it is possible to download only the book you need by getting it from Gitabase Shop and opening from 'my books' section.

1) Added ability to open link to text using Gitabase Reader app. Before you could only open link to text in web browser. Now it is possible to open link in the app even when you have no internet connection. Copy link using left menu on the Text reading screen, share link via messangers, save it to notes - any time you click it, it can be opened in the app for full user experience working with text.
2) There is a new "Translate" command available when user selects a piece of text in purport or in verse on the Text Reading Screen which opens Google translator.
3) Fixed wrong display of the transliterated sanskrit verse.
4) There is a new setting to align text using "justify" alignment.
5) No star was displayed in letter chapters when some letter was added to Favorites. Now it is fixed.

1) Gitabase Reader can serve now as a receiver of requests from other applications via Share button. If you read some text in PDF and it quotes text from Bhagavad Gita, you can quickly open this BG text by selecting text reference in your PDF reader app and choosing 'Share' button, then choosing 'Open in Gitabase'
2) Users with Xiaomi MIUI devices can now create highlighted text fragments. New menu item 'Selected Text...' added to the main lotus feet menu on the text reading screen.
3) Added an option to display full text number on the chapter display screen. For example Bhagavad Gita texts were numbered before 1,2,3. Now numbering is 4.1,4.2,4.3.
4) 'Share Application' button added to the main menu on the Library Screen, please share scriptures with your friends!

Changes in this release were inspired by users feedback.

New features:

1) Page by Page reading mode across whole app - added buttons to scroll text by pages. This reading mode can be enabled from the menu in the top left corner of the screen.
2) Click on highligted text selection in the text display screen to open new popup displaying associated tags, your note or question, operations like edit/delete.
3) Ability to change font size using volume buttons across whole application. To enable this, please check application settings.
4) Ability to add your note or question by clicking on '+' icon in the top right corner of the window displaying notes associated with a particular tag.
5) Ability to copy a note to clipboard. For example, in the notes tab, long press on the note or selected quote and choose 'Copy'.
6) Simplified changing font used to display text. Added small semitransparent button to the right of the verse text, under the day/night mode icon. This allows to quickly change font to one which can display diakritical symbols.
7) Super Feature!!! - Verse Popup - While reading long purport, click on the text header (containing navigation arrows and text number) to display verse - no need to scroll all the way up to lookup verse and then to scroll down to the place where you were reading.

Attention! Due to technical reasons, new version is installed as a separate application, not as an update to the existing (old) version of the app. Update command within the Gitabase Reader 4.6 will not update to v5! To install new version 5 please download it manually and install as apk file. Your notes and bookmarks will be automatically transferred to the new application after you install and run it! Then you can uninstall previous version of the app.

1) Improved search now includes search history and extras, search in verse purport in the 'Display Text' screen, improved User Interface
2) References to the current text can now be browsed offline.
3) Ability to edit tags (topics) associated with existing note or question

1) Ability to store gitabase files on SD card. This is implemented for Android versions prior to v6. Folder can be choosen on the first opening of the app or if the folder with gitabase files could not be located.

Fixed some bugs. From now and onwards only Android 3+ devices supported. Here you can download latest version of Gitabase Reader for Android 2.xx.

Finally changed app icon! Thanks to devotees from Kharkiv, Ukraine! Improved user interface, added ability to change font size in list of volumes and list of chapters.

All the menus have been redesigned with icons, but I found out that after generating release apk, icons do not display, so will have to release a fix soon.

Added book author subtitle. Added ability to read aloud chapter and text (from the lotus feet menu).Scrolling in the list of topics is now retained the same when choosing topic. This allows to save you from extra scrolling if you are adding another text to the same topic.

Added display of weekday of note/bookmark creation date.

New functionality:

1. It is possible to make text selectable now by long touch on the text. No need to use menu command every time you need to highlight or select text.
2. It is possible now to read selected text aloud in case you are driving etc.
3. Displaying the date of note or bookmark creation.
4. Improved the note editing screen.
5. Scrolling position is now saved in the favs list tags and some other lists.
