nidrā-ālasya-pramāda-uttham–Born of sleep, laziness, and illusion; yat sukham–that happiness which; agre cha–in the beginning; anubandhe cha–and in the end; ātmanaḥ mohanam–is self-deception; tat–such happiness; udāhṛtam–is called; tāmasam–happiness of the nature of ignorance. [39]

That happiness which is self-deception from beginning to end, and which arises from sleep, laziness, and illusion, is called happiness of the nature of ignorance.
