arjunaḥ uvÄcha–Arjuna said: (he) hṛṣīkeÅ›a–O Lord of the senses of all beings; sthÄne–rightfully; jagat–the whole world; prahṛṣyati–is joyful; tava prakÄ«rtyÄ–by singing Your glories; cha anurajyate–with love; raká¹£Ämsi–the demons; bhÄ«tÄni (santaḥ)–being afraid; dravanti– run; diÅ›aḥ–in all four directions; cha–and; sarve–all; siddha-saá¹…ghÄḥ–the perfected beings; namasyanti–offer respects, obeisance. Arjuna said: O Hṛṣīkeś, it is fitting that the whole world joyfully sings Your glories with love, the demons flee, scattering in all directions, and the perfected beings offer obeisance to You.
