At the end of thousand yuga cycles, BrahmÄ awoke and MarÄ«ci, other sages and I appeared from the senses of BrahmÄ, who desired to create the universe again.

Purport

At the end of thousand yuga cycles means “at the end of the previous kalpa and the beginning of this kalpa.†Marici and other sages (marici-misra) and I were born from the senses of Brahma.25 Jajnire instead of jajnimaha is poetic license.
