विनिर्गच्छन्धनुष्कोट्या निधाय पुरमागतः ॥३०॥
sa tu brahma-ṛṣer aá¹se
gatÄsum uragaá¹ ruá¹£Ä
vinirgacchan dhanuá¹£-koá¹yÄ
nidhÄya puram Ägataḥ
In anger he placed a dead snake on the shoulder of the sage using the tip of his bow, left the hermitage and returned to his city.
Dhanuskotya means “with the tip of his bow.†O brahmana! I am respecting you with this very delicate garland just as you have nicely welcomed me!â€
