स तु ब्रह्मऋषेरंसे गतासुमुरगं रुषा ।
विनिर्गच्छन्धनुष्कोट्या निधाय पुरमागतः ॥३०॥

In anger he placed a dead snake on the shoulder of the sage using the tip of his bow, left the hermitage and returned to his city.

Purport

Dhanuskotya means “with the tip of his bow.†O brahmana! I am respecting you with this very delicate garland just as you have nicely welcomed me!â€
