भवान्हि वेद तत्सर्वं यन्मां धर्मानुपृच्छसि ।
चतुर्भिर्वर्तसे येन पादैर्लोकसुखावहैः ॥२५॥
dharaṇy uvÄca
bhavÄn hi veda tat sarvaá¹
yan mÄá¹ dharmÄnupá¹›cchasi
caturbhir vartase yena
pÄdair loka-sukhÄvahaiḥ
O earth! Please tell me the cause for your anxiety by which you have become extremely thin. O mother! Has time which is strongest of the strong, stolen your good fortune worshipped by the devatÄs?
Vikarsitasi means “made extremely thin.â€
