You should always know that this cosmic manifestation is created, maintained and annihilated by the will of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Consequently, everything within this cosmic manifestation is under the control of the Lord. To be enlightened by this perfect knowledge, one should always engage himself in the devotional service of the Lord. Talks Between Narada and King Pracinabarhi |

Although one may consider the reflection of the sun from a mirror to be false, it has its factual existence. Accordingly, to prove by speculative knowledge that there is no reality would be extremely difficult. Instructions for Civilized Human Beings |

Present here now is the same Supreme Personality of Godhead whose true form cannot be understood even by such great personalities as Lord BrahmÄ and Lord Ĺiva. He is realized by devotees because of their unflinching surrender. May that same Personality of Godhead, who is the maintainer of His devotees and who is worshiped by silence, by devotional service and by cessation of material activities, be pleased with us. Unalloyed devotees, who have no desire other than to serve the Lord, worship Him in full surrender and always hear and chant about His activities, which are most wonderful and auspicious. Thus they always merge in an ocean of transcendental bliss. Such devotees never ask the Lord for any benediction. I, however, am in danger. Thus I pray to that Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is eternally existing, who is invisible, who is the Lord of all great personalities, such as BrahmÄ, and who is available only by transcendental bhakti-yoga. Being extremely subtle, He is beyond the reach of my senses and transcendental to all external realization. He is unlimited, He is the original cause, and He is completely full in everything. I offer my obeisances unto Him. Gajendra's Prayers of Surrender |

MahÄrÄja Ambarčᚣa always engaged his mind in meditating upon the lotus feet of KášášŁáša, his words in describing the glories of the Lord, his hands in cleansing the Lordâs temple, and his ears in hearing the words spoken by KášášŁáša or about KášášŁáša. He engaged his eyes in seeing the Deity of KášášŁáša, KášášŁášaâs temples and KášášŁášaâs places like MathurÄ and VášndÄvana, he engaged his sense of touch in touching the bodies of the Lordâs devotees, he engaged his sense of smell in smelling the fragrance of tulasÄŤ offered to the Lord, and he engaged his tongue in tasting the Lordâs prasÄda. He engaged his legs in walking to the holy places and temples of the Lord, his head in bowing down before the Lord, and all his desires in serving the Lord, twenty-four hours a day. Indeed, MahÄrÄja Ambarčᚣa never desired anything for his own sense gratification. He engaged all his senses in devotional service, in various engagements related to the Lord. This is the way to increase attachment for the Lord and be completely free from all material desires. Ambarisha Maharaja Offended by Durvasa Muni |

King KhaášvÄáš
ga was unconquerable in any fight. Requested by the demigods to join them in fighting the demons, he won victory, and the demigods, being very pleased, wanted to give him a benediction. The King inquired from them about the duration of his life and was informed that he had only one moment more. Thus he immediately left his palace and went to his own residence, where he engaged his mind fully on the lotus feet of the Lord. The Dynasty of Amsuman |
