vishnoh -- of Vishnu; bhagavatah -- the Supreme Personality of Godhead; bhanuh -- the sun; krishna-akhyah -- known as Krishna; asau -- He; divam -- to the spiritual sky; gatah -- having returned; tada -- then; avisat -- entered; kalih -- the age of Kali; lokam -- this world; pape -- in sin; yat -- in which age; ramate -- take pleasure; janah -- the people.

The Supreme Lord, Vishnu, is brilliant like the sun and is known as Krishna. When He returned to the spiritual sky, Kali entered this world, and people then began to take pleasure in sinful activities.
