arcayam -- within the Deity form; sthandile -- in the earth; agnau -- in fire; va -- or; surye -- in the sun; va -- or; apsu -- in water; hridi -- in the heart; dvijah -- the brahmana; dravyena -- by various paraphernalia; bhakti-yuktah -- endowed with devotion; arcet -- he should worship; sva-gurum -- his worshipable Lord; mam -- Me; amayaya -- without any deception.

A twice-born person should worship Me, his worshipable Lord, without duplicity, offering appropriate paraphernalia in loving devotion to My Deity form or to a form of Me appearing upon the ground, in fire, in the sun, in water or within the worshiper's own heart.
