tato muhūrtaḿ prakṛtāv upaplutaḥ

sva-bodha āste sva-janānuṣańgataḥ

mahānubhāvas tad abudhyad āsurīḿ

māyāḿ sa śālva-prasṛtāḿ mayoditām

tatah -- then; muhurtam -- for a moment; prakritau -- in ordinary (human) nature; upaplutah -- absorbed; sva-bodhah -- (although) fully self-cognizant; aste -- He remained; sva-jana -- for His dear ones; anushangatah -- due to His affection; maha-anubhavah -- the possessor of great powers of perception; tat -- that; abudhyat -- recognized; asurim -- demoniac; mayam -- the illusory magic; sah -- He; salva -- by Salva; prasritam -- utilized; maya -- by Maya Danava; uditam -- developed.


Texto

By nature Lord Krishna is full in knowledge, and He possesses unlimited powers of perception. Yet for a moment, out of great affection for His loved ones, He remained absorbed in the mood of an ordinary human being. He soon recalled, however, that this was all a demoniac illusion engineered by Maya Danava and employed by Salva.
