śrutvā dvijeritaḿ rājā

jñātvā hārdaḿ sabhā-sadām

samarhayad dhṛṣīkeśaḿ

prītaḥ praṇaya-vihvalaḥ

srutva -- hearing; dvija -- by the brahmanas; iritam -- what was pronounced; raja -- the King, Yudhishthira; jnatva -- understanding; hardam -- the inner thoughts; sabha-sadam -- of the members of the assembly; samarhayat -- fully worshiped; hrishikesam -- Lord Krishna; pritah -- pleased; pranaya -- by love; vihvalah -- overwhelmed.

The King was delighted to hear this pronouncement of the brahmanas, from which he understood the mood of the entire assembly. Overwhelmed with love, he fully worshiped Lord Krishna, the master of the senses.
