iti māgadha-saḿruddhā

bhavad-darśana-kańkṣiṇaḥ

prapannāḥ pāda-mūlaḿ te

dīnānāḿ śaḿ vidhīyatām

dutah uvaca -- the messenger said; iti -- thus; magadha -- by Jarasandha; samruddhah -- imprisoned; bhavat -- of You; darsana -- for the sight; kankshinah -- anxiously awaiting; prapannah -- surrendered; pada -- of the feet; mulam -- to the base; te -- Your; dinanam -- to the pitiable; sam -- benefit; vidhiyatam -- please bestow.
