alaḿ yadūnāḿ naradeva-lāñchanair

dātuḥ pratīpaiḥ phaṇinām ivāmṛtam

ye 'smat-prasādopacitā hi yādavā

ājñāpayanty adya gata-trapā bata

alam -- enough; yadunam -- for the Yadus; nara-deva -- of kings; lanchanaih -- with the symbols; datuh -- for the giver; pratipaih -- adverse; phaninam -- for snakes; iva -- just like; amritam -- nectar; ye -- who; asmat -- our; prasada -- by the grace; upacitah -- made prosperous; hi -- indeed; yadavah -- the Yadus; ajnapayanti -- are ordering; adya -- now; gata-trapah -- having lost shame; bata -- indeed.

No longer should the Yadus be allowed to use these royal symbols, which now cause trouble for those who gave them, like milk fed to poisonous snakes. Having prospered by our grace, these Yadavas have now lost all shame and are daring to command us!
