kvacit -- once; sah -- he, Dvivida; sailan -- mountains; utpatya -- tearing up; taih -- with them; desan -- all the kingdoms; samacurnayat -- he devastated; anartan -- the province of the Anarta people (in which Dvaraka is situated); sutaram eva -- especially; yatra -- where; aste -- is present; mitra -- of his friend; ha -- the killer; harih -- Krishna.

Once Dvivida tore up a number of mountains and used them to devastate all the neighboring kingdoms, especially the province of Anarta, wherein dwelt his friend's killer, Lord Hari.
