sah -- He; eva -- indeed; jatah -- taking birth; vaidarbhyam -- in the daughter of the king of Vidarbha; krishna-virya -- from the seed of Lord Krishna; samudbhavah -- generated; pradyumnah -- Pradyumna; iti -- thus; vikhyatah -- known; sarvatah -- in all aspects; anavamah -- not inferior; pituh -- to His father.

He took birth in the womb of Vaidarbhi from the seed of Lord Krishna and received the name Pradyumna. In no respect was He inferior to His father.
