sa cāśvaiḥ śaibya-sugrīva-
meghapuṣpa-balāhakaiḥ
yuktaḿ ratham upānīya
tasthau prāñjalir agrataḥ
sah -- he, Daruka; ca -- and; asvaih -- with the horses; saibya-sugriva-meghapushpa-balahakaih -- named Saibya, Sugriva, Meghapushpa and Balahaka; yuktam -- yoked; ratham -- the chariot; upaniya -- bringing; tasthau -- stood; pranjalih -- with palms joined in reverence; agratah -- in front.
Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti quotes the following text of the Padma Purana describing Lord Krishna's chariot horses:
saibyas tu suka-patrabhah
sugrivo hema-pingalah
meghapushpas tu meghabhah
panduro hi balahakah
"Saibya was green like a parrot's wings, Sugriva yellow-gold, Meghapushpa the color of a cloud, and Balahaka whitish."
