sārvabhauma mahā-rāja

matis te vimalorjitā

varaiḥ pralobhitasyāpi

na kāmair vihatā yataḥ

sri-bhagavan uvaca -- the Supreme Lord said; sarvabhauma -- O emperor; maha-raja -- great ruler; matih -- mind; te -- Your; vimala -- spotless; urjita -- potent; varaih -- with benedictions; pralobhitasya -- of (you) who were enticed; api -- even though; na -- not; kamaih -- by material desires; vihata -- spoiled; yatah -- since.

The Supreme Lord said: O emperor, great ruler, your mind is pure and potent. Though I enticed You with benedictions, your mind was not overcome by material desires.
