śrī-śuka uvāca

tatas tāḥ kṛṣṇa-sandeśair

vyapeta-viraha-jvarāḥ

uddhavaḿ pūjayāḿ cakrur

jñātvātmānam adhokṣajam

sri-sukah uvaca -- Sri Sukadeva Gosvami said; tatah -- then; tah -- they; krishna-sandesaih -- by the messages from Krishna; vyapeta -- removed; viraha -- of their separation; jvarah -- the fever; uddhavam -- Uddhava; pujayam cakruh -- worshiped; jnatva -- recognizing him; atmanam -- Himself; adhokshajam -- as the Supreme Lord.


Texto

Sukadeva Gosvami continued: Lord Krishna's messages having relieved their fever of separation, the gopis then worshiped Uddhava, recognizing him as nondifferent from their Lord, Krishna.

Significado

Srila Sridhara Svami states that the words jnatvatmanam adhokshajam also indicate that the gopis recognize Lord Krishna to be the very soul of their lives and thus spiritually one with them.
