anāgasāḿ tvaḿ bhūtānāḿ
kṛtavān droham ulbaṇam
tenemāḿ bho daśāḿ nīto
bhūta-dhruk ko labheta śam
anagasam -- sinless; tvam -- you; bhutanam -- against creatures; kritavan -- have committed; droham -- violence; ulbanam -- terrible; tena -- by that; imam -- to this; bho -- O dear one; dasam -- condition; nitah -- brought; bhuta -- to living beings; dhruk -- causing harm; kah -- who; labheta -- can achieve; sam -- happiness.
Having expressed their sentimental grief, the ladies now speak practical wisdom. They are beginning to see things realistically because their minds were purified by the agony of the recent events and by the association of Lord Krishna.
