vajra-nīṣpeṣa-niṣṭhuraiḥ

cāṇūro bhajyamānāńgo

bhagavat -- of the Supreme Lord; gatra -- by the limbs; nishpataih -- due to the blows; vajra -- of lightning; nishpesha -- like a crushing stroke; nishthuraih -- hard; canurah -- Canura; bhajyamana -- being broken; angah -- his entire body; muhuh -- more and more; glanim -- pain and fatigue; avapa ha -- felt.

The harsh blows from the Supreme Lord's limbs fell like crushing lightning bolts upon Canura, breaking every part of his body and causing him more and more pain and fatigue.
