tās tathāvanatā dṛṣṭvā

bhagavān devakī-sutaḥ

vāsāḿsi tābhyaḥ prāyacchat

karuṇas tena toṣitaḥ

tah -- then; tatha -- thus; avanatah -- bowed down; drishtva -- seeing; bhagavan -- the Supreme Personality of Godhead; devaki-sutah -- Krishna, the son of Devaki; vasamsi -- the garments; tabhyah -- to them; prayacchat -- He returned; karunah -- compassionate; tena -- by that act; toshitah -- satisfied .

Seeing them bow down like that, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the son of Devaki, gave them back their garments, feeling compassionate toward them and satisfied by their act.
