kalaya -- unto time; kala-nabhaya -- unto Him who is the shelter of time; kala-avayava -- of the various phases of time; sakshine -- to the witness; visvaya -- to the form of the universe; tad-upadrashtre -- to the observer of it; tat-kartre -- to the creator of it; visva -- of the universe; hetave -- to the total cause.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, although appearing in different incarnations, can never be limited by time, since He is time itself, the shelter of time, and the witness of time in all its phases.
