anvamaḿsata tad rājan

govindānugrahekṣitam

pītvā viṣaḿ paretasya

punar utthānam ātmanaḥ

anvamamsata -- they subsequently thought; tat -- that; rajan -- O King Parikshit; govinda -- of Lord Govinda; anugraha-ikshitam -- due to the merciful glance; pitva -- having drunk; visham -- poison; paretasya -- of those who have lost their lives; punah -- once again; utthanam -- rising up; atmanah -- on their own.

O King, the cowherd boys then considered that although they had drunk poison and in fact had died, simply by the merciful glance of Govinda they had regained their lives and stood up by their own strength.Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to the Tenth Canto, Fifteenth Chapter, of the Srimad-Bhagavatam, entitled "The Killing of Dhenuka, the Ass Demon."
