evaḿ-vidhaḿ tvāḿ sakalātmanām api
svātmānam ātmātmatayā vicakṣate
gurv-arka-labdhopaniṣat-sucakṣuṣā
ye te tarantīva bhavānṛtāmbudhim
evam-vidham -- as thus described; tvam -- You; sakala -- of all; atmanam -- souls; api -- indeed; sva-atmanam -- the very Soul; atma-atmataya -- as the Supersoul; vicakshate -- they see; guru -- from the spiritual master; arka -- who is like the sun; labdha -- received; upanishat -- of confidential knowledge; su-cakshusha -- by the perfect eye; ye -- who; te -- they; taranti -- cross over; iva -- easily; bhava -- of material existence; anrita -- which is not real; ambudhim -- the ocean.
As confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita (4.9),
janma karma ca me divyam
evam yo vetti tattvatah
tyaktva deham punar janma
naiti mam eti so 'rjuna
"One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna."
