ब्राह्मणी वीक्ष्य दिधिषुं पुरुषादेन भक्षितम् ।

 brÄhmaṇī - the wife of the brÄhmaṇa; vÄ«ká¹£ya - after seeing; didhiá¹£um - her husband, who was about to give the seed of a child; puruá¹£a-adena - by the man-eater (RÄká¹£asa); bhaká¹£itam - having been eaten up; Å›ocantÄ« - lamenting very much; ÄtmÄnam - for her body or her self; urvÄ«Å›am - unto the King; aÅ›apat - cursed; kupitÄ - being angry; satÄ« - the chaste woman.

When the chaste wife of the brÄhmaṇa saw that her husband, who was about to discharge semen, had been eaten by the man-eater, she was overwhelmed with grief and lamentation. Thus she angrily cursed the King.
