तत आदाय सा राज्ञा क्षिप्ता राजन् सरोवरे ।
तदावृत्यात्मना सोऽयं महामीनोऽन्ववर्धत ॥२१॥

 tataḥ - from there; ÄdÄya - taking away;  - the fish; rÄjÃ±Ä - by the King; ká¹£iptÄ - being thrown; rÄjan - O King (MahÄrÄja ParÄ«ká¹£it); sarovare - in a lake; tat - that; Ävá¹›tya - covering; ÄtmanÄ - by the body; saḥ - the fish; ayam - this; mahÄ-mÄ«naḥ - gigantic fish; anvavardhata - immediately developed.

O MahÄrÄja ParÄ«ká¹£it, the King took the fish from the well and threw Him in a lake, but the fish then assumed a gigantic form exceeding the extent of the water.
