pÅ«jÄá¹ ca mahatīṠkuryÄd
vitta-Å›Äá¹hya-vivarjitaḥ
caruṠnirūpya payasi
Å›ipiviá¹£á¹Äya viṣṇave
sÅ«ktena tena puruá¹£aá¹
yajeta susamÄhitaḥ
naivedyaá¹ cÄtiguṇavad
dadyÄt puruá¹£a-tuá¹£á¹idam
pÅ«jÄm - worship; ca - also; mahatÄ«m - very gorgeous; kuryÄt - should do; vitta-Å›Äá¹hya - miserly mentality (not spending sufficient money); vivarjitaḥ - giving up; carum - grains offered in the yajña; nirÅ«pya - seeing properly; payasi - with milk; Å›ipiviá¹£á¹Äya - unto the Supersoul, who is situated in the heart of every living entity; viṣṇave - unto Lord Viṣṇu; sÅ«ktena - by chanting the Vedic mantra known as puruá¹£a-sÅ«kta; tena - by that; puruá¹£am - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; yajeta - one should worship; su-samÄhitaḥ - with great attention; naivedyam - food offered to the Deity; ca - and; ati-guṇa-vat - prepared very gorgeously with all varieties of taste; dadyÄt - should offer; puruá¹£a-tuá¹£á¹i-dam - everything extremely pleasing to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
