 atra - in this Manu's reign; api - certainly; bhagavat-janma - appearance of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; kaÅ›yapÄt - by KaÅ›yapa Muni; aditeḥ - of mother Aditi; abhÅ«t - became possible; ÄdityÄnÄm - of the Ä€dityas; avara-jaḥ - the youngest; viṣṇuḥ - Lord Viṣṇu Himself; vÄmana-rÅ«pa-dhá¹›k - appearing as Lord VÄmana.

In this manvantara, the Supreme Personality of Godhead appeared as the youngest of all the Ä€dityas, known as VÄmana, the dwarf. His father was KaÅ›yapa and His mother Aditi.
