ताः पर्यतप्यन्नात्मानं गर्हयन्त्योऽभ्यसूयया ।
आनपत्येन दुःखेन राज्ञश्चानादरेण च ॥३९॥

 tÄḥ - they (the queens who did not have sons); paryatapyan - lamented; ÄtmÄnam - themselves; garhayantyaḥ - condemning; abhyasÅ«yayÄ - out of envy; Änapatyena - due to being without sons; duḥkhena - by unhappiness; rÄjñaḥ - of the King; ca - also; anÄdareṇa - due to negligence; ca - also.
