सुरासुराश्चारणसिद्धसङ्घाः ।
अपूजयंस्तत् पुरुहूतसङ्कटं
निरीक्ष्य हा हेति विचुक्रुशुर्भृशम् ॥५॥

surÄsurÄÅ› cÄraṇa-siddha-saá¹…ghÄḥ
apÅ«jayaá¹s tat puruhÅ«ta-saá¹…kaá¹aá¹
nirÄ«ká¹£ya hÄ heti vicukruÅ›ur bhṛśam
vá¹›trasya - of Vá¹›trÄsura; karma - the accomplishment; ati - very; mahÄ - greatly; adbhutam - wonderful; tat - that; sura - the demigods; asurÄḥ - and the demons; cÄraṇa - the CÄraṇas; siddha-saá¹…ghÄḥ - and the society of Siddhas; apÅ«jayan - glorified; tat - that; puruhÅ«ta-saá¹…kaá¹am - the dangerous position of Indra; nirÄ«ká¹£ya - seeing; hÄ hÄ - alas, alas; iti - thus; vicukruÅ›uḥ - lamented; bhṛśam - very much.
