न ते शस्त्रास्त्रवर्षौघा ह्यासेदुः सुरसैनिकान् ।
छिन्नाः सिद्धपथे देवैर्लघुहस्तैः सहस्रधा ॥२५॥

na te Å›astrÄstra-vará¹£aughÄ
hy Äseduḥ sura-sainikÄn
chinnÄḥ siddha-pathe devair
laghu-hastaiḥ sahasradhÄ

 na - not; te - those; Å›astra-astra-vará¹£a-oghÄḥ - showers of arrows and other weapons; hi - indeed; Äseduḥ - reached; sura-sainikÄn - the armies of the demigods; chinnÄḥ - cut; siddha-pathe - in the sky; devaiḥ - by the demigods; laghu-hastaiḥ - quick-handed; sahasradhÄ - into thousands of pieces.

The showers of various weapons and arrows released to kill the soldiers of the demigods did not reach them because the demigods, acting quickly, cut the weapons into thousands of pieces in the sky.
