दुहितरं चोर्जस्वतीं नामोशनसे प्रायच्छद्यस्यामासीद्देवयानी नाम काव्यसुता ॥३४॥

duhitaraá¹ corjasvatÄ«á¹ nÄmoÅ›anase prÄyacchad yasyÄm ÄsÄ«d devayÄnÄ« nÄma kÄvya-sutÄ

 duhitaram - the daughter; ca - also; Å«rjasvatÄ«m - ŪrjasvatÄ«; nÄma - named; uÅ›anase - unto the great sage UÅ›anÄ (ÅšukrÄcÄrya); prÄyacchat - he gave; yasyÄm - unto whom; ÄsÄ«t - there was; devayÄnÄ« - DevayÄnÄ«; nÄma - named; kÄvya-sutÄ - the daughter of ÅšukrÄcÄrya.

King Priyavrata then gave his daughter, ŪrjasvatÄ«, in marriage to ÅšukrÄcÄrya, who begot in her a daughter named DevayÄnÄ«.
