prasthite - after departure; tu - but; vanam - to the forest; pitrÄ - by your father; dattvÄ - awarding; gÄm - the whole world; dharma-samÅ›rayaḥ - under the protection of piety; á¹£aá¹-trimÅ›at - thirty-six; vará¹£a - years; sÄhasram - one thousand; raká¹£itÄ - you will rule; avyÄhata - without decay; indriyaḥ - the power of the senses.
