तदा स्वप्रभया तेषां द्योतयन्त्या दिशो दश ।
मुष्णंस्तेज उपानीतस्तार्क्ष्येण स्तोत्रवाजिना ॥१९॥

tadÄ sva-prabhayÄ teá¹£Äá¹
dyotayantyÄ diÅ›o daÅ›a
muṣṇaá¹s teja upÄnÄ«tas
tÄrká¹£yeṇa stotra-vÄjinÄ

 tadÄ - at that time; sva-prabhayÄ - by His own effulgence; teá¹£Äm - all of them; dyotayantyÄ - by brightness; diÅ›aḥ - directions; daÅ›a - ten; muṣṇan - diminishing; tejaḥ - effulgence; upÄnÄ«taḥ - brought; tÄrká¹£yeṇa - by Garuá¸a; stotra-vÄjinÄ - whose wings are called Bá¹›hat and Rathantara.


Text

Lord NÄrÄyaṇa was seated on the shoulder of Stotra, or Garuá¸a, who had big wings. As soon as the Lord appeared, all directions were illuminated, diminishing the luster of BrahmÄ and the others present.
