अग्निष्वात्ता बर्हिषदः सौम्याः पितर आज्यपाः ।
साग्नयोऽनग्नयस्तेषां पत्नी दाक्षायणी स्वधा ॥६३॥

 agniá¹£vÄttÄḥ - the Agniá¹£vÄttas; barhiá¹£adaḥ - the Barhiá¹£adas; saumyÄḥ - the Saumyas; pitaraḥ - the forefathers; ÄjyapÄḥ - the Ä€jyapas; sa-agnayaḥ - those whose means is by fire; anagnayaḥ - those whose means is without fire; teá¹£Äm - of them; patnÄ« - the wife; dÄká¹£Äyaṇī - the daughter of Daká¹£a; svadhÄ - SvadhÄ.

The Agniá¹£vÄttas, the Barhiá¹£adas, the Saumyas and the Ä€jyapas are the PitÄs. They are either sÄgnika or niragnika. The wife of all these PitÄs is SvadhÄ, who is the daughter of King Daká¹£a.
