पत्नी मरीचेस्तु कला सुषुवे कर्दमात्मजा ।
कश्यपं पूर्णिमानं च ययोरापूरितं जगत् ॥१३॥

 patnÄ« - wife; marÄ«ceḥ - of the sage named MarÄ«ci; tu - also; kalÄ - named KalÄ; suá¹£uve - gave birth; kardama-ÄtmajÄ - daughter of Kardama Muni; kaÅ›yapam - of the name KaÅ›yapa; pÅ«rṇimÄnam ca - and of the name PÅ«rṇimÄ; yayoḥ - by whom; ÄpÅ«ritam - spread all over; jagat - the world.

Kardama Muni’s daughter KalÄ, who was married to MarÄ«ci, gave birth to two children, whose names were KaÅ›yapa and PÅ«rṇimÄ. Their descendants are spread all over the world.
