तस्यार्थसूक्ष्माभिनिविष्टदृष्टे
रन्तर्गतोऽर्थो रजसा तनीयान् ।
गुणेन कालानुगतेन विद्धः
सूष्यंस्तदाभिद्यत नाभिदेशात् ॥१३॥

tasyÄrtha-sÅ«ká¹£mÄbhiniviṣṭa-dṛṣṭer
antar-gato 'rtho rajasÄ tanÄ«yÄn
guṇena kÄlÄnugatena viddhaḥ
sūṣyaá¹s tadÄbhidyata nÄbhi-deÅ›Ät

 tasya - His; artha - subject; sÅ«ká¹£ma - subtle; abhiniviṣṭa-dṛṣṭeḥ - of one whose attention was fixed; antaḥ-gataḥ - internal; arthaḥ - purpose; rajasÄ - by the mode of passion of material nature; tanÄ«yÄn - very subtle; guṇena - by the qualities; kÄla-anugatena - in due course of time; viddhaḥ - agitated; sūṣyan - generating; tadÄ - then; abhidyata - pierced through; nÄbhi-deÅ›Ät - from the abdomen.

The subtle subject matter of creation, on which the Lord’s attention was fixed, was agitated by the material mode of passion, and thus the subtle form of creation pierced through His abdomen.
