dehaá¹ ca taá¹ na caramaḥ sthitam utthitaá¹ vÄ
siddho vipaśyati yato 'dhyagamat svarūpam
daivÄd upetam atha daiva-vaÅ›Äd apetaá¹
vÄso yathÄ pariká¹›taá¹ madirÄ-madÄndhaḥ
deham - material body; ca - and; tam - that; na - not; caramaḥ - last; sthitam - sitting; utthitam - rising; vÄ - or; siddhaḥ - the realized soul; vipaÅ›yati - can conceive; yataḥ - because; adhyagamat - he has achieved; sva-rÅ«pam - his real identity; daivÄt - according to destiny; upetam - arrived; atha - moreover; daiva-vaÅ›Ät - according to destiny; apetam - departed; vÄsaḥ - clothing; yathÄ - as; pariká¹›tam - put on; madirÄ-mada-andhaḥ - one who is blinded by intoxication.
This stage of life is explained by RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ« in his Bhakti-rasÄmá¹›ta-sindhu. A person whose mind is completely dovetailed with the desire of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and who engages one hundred percent in the service of the Lord, forgets his material bodily demands.
