tebhyaḼ - to them; saḼ - Lord BrahmÄ; asášjat - gave; svÄŤyam - his own; puram - body; puruᚣam - human; Ätma-vÄn - self-possessed; tÄn - them; dášášŁášvÄ - on seeing; ye - those who; purÄ - earlier; sášášŁášÄḼ - were created (the demigods, Gandharvas, etc., who were created earlier); praĹaĹaášsuḼ - applauded; prajÄpatim - BrahmÄ (the lord of created beings).
