daá¹á¹£á¹ra-agra - the tips of the tusks; koá¹yÄ - by the edges; bhagavan - O Personality of Godhead; tvayÄ - by You; dhá¹›tÄ - sustained; virÄjate - is so beautifully situated; bhÅ«-dhara - O lifter of the earth; bhūḥ - the earth; sa-bhÅ«dharÄ - with mountains; yathÄ - as much as; vanÄt - from the water; niḥsarataḥ - coming out; datÄ - by the tusk; dhá¹›tÄ - captured; matam-gajendrasya - infuriated elephant; sa-patra - with leaves; padminÄ« - the lotus flower.
The fortune of the earth planet is praised because of its being specifically sustained by the Lord; its beauty is appreciated and compared to that of a lotus flower situated on the trunk of an elephant. As a lotus flower with leaves is very beautifully situated, so the world, with its many beautiful mountains, appeared on the tusks of the Lord Boar.
