athÄbhidhehy aá¹…ga mano-'nukÅ«laá¹
prabhÄá¹£ase bhÄgavata-pradhÄnaḥ
yad Äha vaiyÄsakir Ätma-vidyÄ-
viÅ›Ärado ná¹›patiá¹ sÄdhu pṛṣá¹aḥ
atha - therefore; abhidhehi - please explain; aá¹…ga - O SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ«; manaḥ - mind; anukÅ«lam - favorable to our mentality; prabhÄá¹£ase - you do speak; bhÄgavata - the great devotee; pradhÄnaḥ - the chief; yat Äha - what he spoke; vaiyÄsakiḥ - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ«; Ätma-vidyÄ - transcendental knowledge; viÅ›Äradaḥ - expert; ná¹›patim - unto the King; sÄdhu - very good; pṛṣá¹aḥ - being asked.
Knowledge explained by the previous ÄcÄrya like Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« and followed by the next like SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ« is always powerful transcendental knowledge, and it is therefore penetrating and useful to all submissive students.
Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Second Canto, Third Chapter, of the ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam, entitled “Pure Devotional Service: The Change in Heart.â€
