Å›aunakaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšaunaka Muni said; yat - as; Äha - you said; naḥ - unto us; bhavÄn - your good self; sÅ«ta - O SÅ«ta; ká¹£attÄ - Vidura; bhÄgavata-uttamaḥ - one of the topmost devotees of the Lord; cacÄra - practiced; tÄ«rthÄni - places of pilgrimage; bhuvaḥ - on the earth; tyaktvÄ - leaving aside; bandhÅ«n - all relatives; su-dustyajÄn - very difficult to give up.
The ṛṣis headed by Śaunaka were more anxious to know about Vidura, who met Maitreya Ṛṣi while traveling to the pilgrimage sites of the world.
