Å›rutaḥ saá¹…kÄ«rtito dhyÄtaḥ
pÅ«jitaÅ› cÄdá¹›to 'pi vÄ
nṛṇÄá¹ dhunoti bhagavÄn
há¹›t-stho janmÄyutÄÅ›ubham

 Å›rutaḥ - heard; saá¹…kÄ«rtitaḥ - glorified; dhyÄtaḥ - meditated upon; pÅ«jitaḥ - worshiped; ca - and; Ädá¹›taḥ - venerated; api - even;  - or; nṛṇÄm - of men; dhunoti - cleanses away; bhagavÄn - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; há¹›t-sthaḥ - seated within their hearts; janma-ayuta - of thousands of births; aÅ›ubham - the inauspicious contamination.

If a person hears about, glorifies, meditates upon, worships or simply offers great respect to the Supreme Lord, who is situated within the heart, the Lord will remove from his mind the contamination accumulated during many thousands of lifetimes.
