santuá¹£á¹Äḥ - self-satisfied; karuṇÄḥ - merciful; maitrÄḥ - friendly; Å›ÄntÄḥ - pacified; dÄntÄḥ - self-controlled; titiká¹£avaḥ - tolerant; Ätma-ÄrÄmÄḥ - enthused from within; sama-dṛśaḥ - possessed of equal vision; prÄyaÅ›aḥ - for the most part; Å›ramaṇÄḥ - endeavoring diligently (for self-realization); janÄḥ - the people.
Sama-darśana, equal vision, is based on the perception of the Supreme Spirit behind all material variety and within all living entities.
