ká¹£etrÄṇÄá¹ caiva sarveá¹£Äá¹
yathÄ kÄśī hy anuttamÄ
tathÄ purÄṇa-vrÄtÄnÄá¹
Å›rÄ«mad-bhÄgavataá¹ dvijÄḥ

 ká¹£etrÄṇÄm - of holy places; ca - and; eva - indeed; sarveá¹£Äm - of all; yathÄ - as; kÄśī - Benares; hi - indeed; anuttamÄ - unexcelled; tathÄ - thus; purÄṇa-vrÄtÄnÄm - of all the PurÄṇas; Å›rÄ«mat-bhÄgavatam - ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam; dvijÄḥ - O brÄhmaṇas.

O brÄhmaṇas, in the same way that the city of KÄśī is unexcelled among holy places, ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam is supreme among all the PurÄṇas.
