ojaḥ-saho-bala-yutaá¹
mukhya-tattvaá¹ gadÄá¹ dadhat
apÄá¹ tattvaá¹ dara-varaá¹
tejas-tattvaṠsudarśanam
nabho-nibhaá¹ nabhas-tattvam
asiá¹ carma tamo-mayam
kÄla-rÅ«paá¹ dhanuḥ Å›Ärá¹…gaá¹
tathÄ karma-mayeá¹£udhim

 ojaḥ-sahaḥ-bala - with the power of the senses, the power of the mind and the power of the body; yutam - conjoined; mukhya-tattvam - the principle element, air, which is the vital force within the material body; gadÄm - His club; dadhat - carrying; apÄm - of water; tattvam - the element; dara - His conchshell; varam - excellent; tejaḥ-tattvam - the element fire; sudarÅ›anam - His SudarÅ›ana disc; nabhaḥ-nibham - just like the sky; nabhaḥ-tattvam - the element ether; asim - His sword; carma - His shield; tamaḥ-mayam - composed of the mode of ignorance; kÄla-rÅ«pam - appearing as time; dhanuḥ - His bow; Å›Ärá¹…gam - named ÅšÄrá¹…ga; tathÄ - and; karma-maya - representing the active senses; iá¹£u-dhim - the quiver holding His arrows.
