nairÄÅ›yaá¹ paramaá¹ sukham
yathÄ sañchidya kÄntÄÅ›Äá¹
sukhaá¹ suá¹£vÄpa piá¹…galÄ

 aÅ›Ä - material desire; hi - certainly; paramam - the greatest; duḥkham - unhappiness; nairÄÅ›yam - freedom from material desires; paramam - the greatest; sukham - happiness; yathÄ - in that way; sañchidya - completely cutting off; kÄnta - for lovers; ÄÅ›Äm - the desire; sukham - happily; suá¹£vÄpa - she slept; piá¹…galÄ - the former prostitute, Piá¹…galÄ.

Material desire is undoubtedly the cause of the greatest unhappiness, and freedom from such desire is the cause of the greatest happiness. Therefore, completely cutting off her desire to enjoy so-called lovers, Piá¹…galÄ very happily went to sleep.
