Å›rÄ«-Å›uka uvÄca
atha brahmÄtma-jaiḥ devaiḥ
prajeÅ›air Ävá¹›to 'bhyagÄt
bhavaś ca bhūta-bhavyeśo
yayau bhūta-gaṇair vṛtaḥ
Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; atha - then; brahmÄ - Lord BrahmÄ; Ätma-jaiḥ - by his sons (headed by Sanaka); devaiḥ - by the demigods; prajÄ-īśaiḥ - and hy the progenitors of universal population (headed by MarÄ«ci); Ävá¹›taḥ - surrounded; abhyagÄt - went (to DvÄrakÄ); bhavaḥ - Lord Åšiva; ca - also; bhÅ«ta - to all living beings; bhavya-īśaḥ - the bestower of auspiciousness; yayau - went; bhÅ«ta gaṇaiḥ - by the hordes of ghostly creatures; vá¹›taḥ - surrounded.
