yuvayoḥ khalu dampatyor
yaÅ›asÄ pÅ«ritaá¹ jagat
putratÄm agamad yad vÄá¹
bhagavÄn Ä«Å›varo hariḥ
yuvayoḥ - of the two of you; khalu - indeed; dam-patyoḥ - of the husband and wife; yaÅ›asÄ - by the glories; pÅ«ritam - has become full; jagat - the earth; putratÄm - the state of being the son; agamat - assumed; yat - because; vÄm - your; bhagavÄn - the Personality of Godhead; Ä«Å›varaḥ - the Supreme Lord; hariḥ - Hari.
Indeed, the whole world has become filled with the glories of you and your good wife because the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Hari, has taken the position of your son.
In this verse NÄrada Muni hints at the glories of Vasudeva and DevakÄ«, the parents of Kṛṣṇa and BalarÄma, by the words yaÅ›asÄ pÅ«ritaá¹ jagat, “the whole world is now filled with your glories.†In other words, although Vasudeva inquired from NÄrada about spiritual advancement, NÄrada here states, “You are already completely glorious due to your extraordinary devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead.â€
